submission guidelines

If you have fandom you'd like to submit, I would love to see it! However, I've decided it would just be eaiser in the long run to set up a simple set of guidelines for everyone to follow. I don't have unlimited time to spend here, as much as I wish I did, so this is to make it easier on me. If I get something in my inbox that didn't follow these guidelines, I'll write you back ONCE to ask you to re-read this page and delete what you had sent me. I hate to be this picky, but this way I can read through more fics and put more up. And I think that's what everyone wants, right?

If you have something you'd like to submitt, email it to: dubird @ thegwg.org, with the subject reading Fandom Submission (or something like that). That way, I can identify it right off, since I tend to delete emails from addresses I don't recognize.

Rules for Submitting Fanart

  1. No lime/lemon. This is a family-friendly site (or at least it trys to be).
  2. No yaoi/yuri. This is just because it's something I don't agree with in Gundam Wing.
  3. Make sure your name is included in the email, as well as your email and/or website you want listed.
  4. Please only send a picture in .JPG or .GIF format! This makes things a great deal eaiser on me when it comes time to put them up.
  5. Try not to make the file size too big. Somewhere under 500K would be nice, but if you just can't bear to shrink it, simply email me first and let me know how big the file size is. If it's too big, I'll have to give you a different account to send it to.

Rules for Submitting a Fanfic

  1. Proofread!! If your story is one long sentence, I'm not going to be able to read it. This includes spell checking. Yes, I'm a rotten speller. But I also use various word processing programs that have spell checkers. It's not hard, and it will make this whole process much faster.
  2. Please don't use chat abbreviations or l334 when writing. It's really hard to read a fic wHer ppL tipe lke tHiS.
  3. Please format it somehow! Script style, story style, doesn't matter. As long as it's readable, that's all I ask.
  4. Make sure the name you want it under is included, as well as an email and/or website address where you can be reached. This is in case someone else would like to add your fic to their collection, they can write and ask for your permission.
  5. No lime/lemon. This is a family-friendly site (or at least it trys to be).
  6. No yaoi/yuri. This is just because it's something I don't agree with in Gundam Wing.
  7. It must be sent to me in either .TXT or .HTML format! This makes it eaiser to sort out and add them.
